I'm a bit of a walking contradiction. I'm visually extroverted but temperamentally introverted. I love dressing comfortably in bold colors, mismatched patterns, and textures, but on the inside, I'm like a library poetry corner. I love nothing more than spending a quiet afternoon in the grass with my dog by my side and a notebook in hand.
I'll almost always add something unusual to a recipe "just to see," because I'm convinced I'm scientist, too. I love learning about history, different cultures, space, and how human anatomy works together—especially the brain. I enjoy listening to vinyl records because they encourage presense for an entire creative journey.
My favorite weather is a foggy, sweater-worthy day. I love aesthetic alleys in cities and sitting in an expanse beneath a canopy of trees with a river in view. I adore 1940s cinema, 70s disco, and 90s/early-2000s rap. I collect antique keys from the cities I visit. And if I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to speak every language of the past, present, and future.
I love my waking life, but I treasure my dreaming life just as much. I often leave that realm feeling as though I've received an important lesson, a message, or simply an experience my heart needed.

I’ve always been fascinated by the things people do and why we do them, the mysteries of the cosmos, the juxtaposition of cultural and social norms, and those wonderfully layered questions that perhaps were designed never to be answered. Writing is what happens when all of those things spend too much time together in my head.
